The two-tone Colt Competition is a full-size Government 1911 in .45 ACP set up for shooting against the timer, pairing a brushed stainless steel frame with a blued slide. G10 grips, 25 LPI checkering, an upswept beavertail and an undercut trigger guard keep the gun low in the hand, and a dual recoil spring system softens felt recoil. A National Match barrel, Novak adjustable fiber optic sights and the Series 70 firing system round it out.
