Atlas Gunworks Artemis v3
The Artemis v3 is engineered around a purpose-designed barrel block — a front sight block fixed to the barrel so the sight does not reciprocate with the slide — and Atlas calls it one of the softest-shooting pistols in its lineup. It is the spiritual successor to the Nemesis, the sight-block Limited gun that put Atlas on the map in 2018, and a 2A-N-LA review on Atlas’s own blog asked whether it is “the gold standard for LO 2011s.”
The 4.6-inch threaded bull barrel, 38.62 oz weight and 9 lb recoil spring are matched to the v3 Perfect Zero platform: Vermont-machined billet slide, v3 optics plate, Glock-style front sight and patent-pending angled grip bushings. Atlas has campaigned the Artemis itself, posting a 10th-place finish at the 2026 Coastal Classic.

Who the Artemis v3 is for
Limited Optics and Limited shooters who want the flattest, softest-tracking non-compensated Atlas. The sight block adds weight at the muzzle and keeps the front sight still; shooters who would rather have ports should look at the Apollo v3, and those who want a plain 5-inch gun at the Titan v3.

What is a sight block?
A block fixed to the barrel ahead of the slide that carries the front sight. Because it is attached to the barrel rather than the slide, the sight stays put during cycling and the extra mass at the muzzle reduces flip.
Is the Artemis v3 legal for USPSA Limited Optics?
It is a non-ported, non-compensated pistol built for that purpose; always confirm the current rulebook for your division.
