Miller Precision Ranger 9SC

The Ranger 9SC is the smallest Miller Precision pistol: a 4-inch sub-compact 2011 built on a 120mm carry-length grip with a carry magwell, night sights and a 3 to 3.5 lb Easy Adjust trigger that is a touch heavier than the competition models for carry use. The barrel is offered standard or V-Ported.

It keeps the full Ranger feature set — linkless barrel, patent-pending Easy Adjust trigger, patent-pending reversible magazine release, ambidextrous slide stop and safeties, external extractor and the optic-plate system with co-witness irons — and ships with a pinned grip safety and two Atlas Gunworks magazines (dealers list 15-round mags). Craig Summers’ “First 500 Rounds” review of the 9SC is featured on Miller’s site.

Who the Ranger 9SC is for

Anyone who wants to conceal a 2011. The shorter grip and 4-inch slide make it the easiest Ranger to hide, and the slightly heavier trigger suits carry. If you want a full-length grip in a compact slide, the Ranger 9C or ported Ranger 9Ci is the step up.
