Dark Forge Wraith
The Wraith is Dark Forge’s 4.6-inch pistol — the ported, non-compensated sibling of the Reaper, built, in Dark Forge’s words, for those who demand absolute control in high-stakes situations. Its patent-pending “V6” barrel carries dual in-line ports through the top of the slide to cut muzzle rise without the length or blast of a compensator, which makes it the easier of the two Dark Forge pistols to carry and holster.
It shares the Reaper’s billet-steel construction, patent-pending aluminum grip module with a fixed non-functional grip safety, ambidextrous thumb safeties, stainless magwell, flat 2 to 2.5 lb trigger and ultra-low direct-mount RMR/SRO cut, finished in DLC black with bronze PVD accents. Dark Forge ships it in a hard case with three 2011 magazines, and 2A-N-LA, Manzano Munitions and Real Street Tactical have all reviewed it on camera.
Cajun Gun And Gear is the only authorized Dark Forge dealer in Louisiana. Wraith pistols in stock are listed below; call 337.999.0373 to order one if none are showing.

Shooters who want Dark Forge’s flat-shooting character in a shorter, comp-free package for carry or duty. The Reaper is the 5-inch monolithic-comp flagship. Dark Forge sells an unported second barrel and aftermarket porting for both pistols.
Dark Forge Wraith FAQ
What does “V6 Ported” mean?
Dark Forge’s patent-pending porting scheme for the Wraith: dual in-line ports cut through the top of the 4.6-inch barrel and slide that vent gas upward to reduce muzzle flip.
Is the Wraith compensated?
No. The Wraith is ported only; the Reaper is the compensated Dark Forge.
How is the Wraith different from the Reaper?
The Wraith is 4.6 inches with a V6-ported barrel and no comp; the Reaper is 5 inches with a monolithic compensated (and now ported) barrel. Grip, trigger, finish and optic cut are the same.
What optics fit the Wraith?
Trijicon RMR and SRO footprints mount directly to the slide; there are no plates. The cut is very low, so SRO owners should expect slight overhang.
Can I get the Wraith with a polymer grip?
Dark Forge’s site lists the aluminum grip module; a polymer-grip Wraith has been offered through dealers. Ask us about current options.
Can I run the Wraith without ports?
Yes. Dark Forge sells an unported “LO” second barrel for its pistols, and we can order one with your Wraith.
