United Gunworks Pistols
United Gunworks builds three 9mm double-stack 1911 (2011-style) pistols on one platform in a 60,000-square-foot facility in Peoria, Arizona — “Three Pistols. One Platform. Built To Be Run.” Every barrel, slide and frame is cut, finished and inspected under one roof on 5-axis Modig machining centers with robotic loading, Haas mills, Eurotech Swiss machines, wire EDM and laser processing; nothing is farmed out. Cajun Gun And Gear is the only authorized United Gunworks dealer in the state of Louisiana.
The lineup is simple. The Nomad (UG-5) is the full-size everyday gun with a 4.5-inch single-port barrel. The Alpha (UG-1) is the flagship, with UGW’s in-house 4.5-inch Ultra-Ported island barrel and an ultra-low-mass slide — the pistol Pew Pew Tactical called “one of the most accurate pistols we’ve ever tested.” The Phantom (UG-4) is the 3.8-inch compact with a proprietary dual recoil spring system, offered ported or non-ported. All three share a steel frame, a flat-face trigger with a 2 to 3 lb break, black PVD, an MJD grip module and a modular optic-plate system with your choice of RMR, DeltaPoint Pro, RMSc or ACRO plate included.
United Gunworks is a young company — it entered the market with the Alpha and its first fifty “founder” guns sold out — and it backs its pistols through a factory warranty-claim process and offers military and first-responder discounts. Nomads are typically in stock at the factory while Alphas and Phantoms are built to order in a few weeks, so ordering through us is often the fastest way to get one.

Are they optics-ready?
Yes. Each pistol ships with the optic plate of your choice — RMR, Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, RMSc or Aimpoint ACRO — with a co-witness rear sight built into the plate on the Alpha and Phantom. Optics are sold separately; we can mount one before pickup.
What is the trigger pull?
A flat-face trigger with a stated 2 to 3 lb break on all three models; Pew Pew Tactical measured its Alpha at an average of about 1 lb 6 oz.
What finishes are available?
Black PVD throughout. Nomad: copper hardware accents with a black or FDE grip. Alpha: black, black with gray accents or black with copper highlights. Phantom: black or black with copper highlights with a black or FDE grip.
What is the United Gunworks warranty?

How long does it take to get one?
Nomads are usually in stock at the factory and ship right away; Alphas run about two to three weeks and Phantoms three to five weeks when built to order. We keep pistols on the shelf whenever we can, and ordering through us is often the fastest route.
