United Gunworks Phantom
The Phantom (UG-4) is United Gunworks’ compact carry 2011: a 3.8-inch match-grade bull barrel, offered ported or non-ported at the same price, on a frame with a full-length dust cover and accessory rail. At 33.5 oz for the pistol alone (37.5 oz with an empty magazine) it is the lightest and shortest gun in the lineup at 7.5 inches overall, and it carries 17 rounds in the three 126mm Check-Mate magazines that come with it.
Inside, a proprietary dual recoil spring system (10 to 12 lb) tames the short slide, a low-mass sear and match disconnector deliver the 2 to 3 lb flat-face trigger, and an Aftec-style extractor handles the brass. Controls are an ambidextrous thumb safety and a fully blended grip safety; the slide has front and rear serrations, a custom UGW front sight and the modular optic plate with an integrated co-witness rear. Like the Nomad it uses an MJD polymer grip in black or FDE, finished in black PVD with optional copper highlights, and it ships in UGW’s “Vault” hard case with two challenge coins, a gun lock and inspection paperwork.
Cajun Gun And Gear is the only authorized United Gunworks dealer in Louisiana. Phantom pistols in stock are listed below; call 337.999.0373 to order a ported or non-ported Phantom in the finish and grip color you want.

Concealed-carry and duty shooters who want a compact 2011 with a dual-spring recoil system and a full rail for a light. The Nomad is the full-size everyday gun and the Alpha the ultra-ported flagship.
United Gunworks Phantom FAQ
Should I get the Phantom ported or non-ported?
Both are offered at the same price. Ported cuts muzzle rise for faster follow-ups; non-ported keeps a cleaner muzzle for carry and suppressor-free shooting. We stock both when available and can order either.
How much does the United Gunworks Phantom weigh?
33.5 oz for the pistol alone, 37.5 oz with an empty magazine and 44.5 oz with a loaded 17-round magazine.
What is the Phantom’s capacity?
17 rounds. It ships with three 126mm Check-Mate magazines.
What is the dual recoil spring system?
United Gunworks’ proprietary two-spring recoil assembly, rated 10 to 12 lb, that controls the short 3.8-inch slide for reliable cycling and softer recoil.
Will a weapon light fit the Phantom?
Yes. The frame has a full-length dust cover with an accessory rail; United Gunworks pairs it with SureFire and Olight lights.
