United Gunworks Undertaker
The Undertaker is the newest pistol from United Gunworks and the top of its lineup. It is a 9mm double-stack 1911 (2011-style) built around a 4.7-inch ported, integrally compensated island barrel running in a matching island slide. The compensator is cut into the barrel itself, so gas vents right at the muzzle to keep the gun flat and the dot on target, with no add-on comp to work loose.
That barrel and slide take a lot of machine time, so United Gunworks is building the Undertaker in limited batches at its Peoria, Arizona facility. The first launch units are going to a small group of selected dealers. Cajun Gun And Gear is one of them, and the only authorized United Gunworks dealer in Louisiana.

Who the Undertaker is for
The Undertaker is for the shooter who already knows what a good 2011 feels like and wants the flattest-shooting gun United Gunworks makes. If you are looking at the Alpha and want more barrel and more comp, this is the step up. If you want a full-size UGW at a lower price, start with the Nomad. For carry, look at the Phantom.
United Gunworks Undertaker FAQ
What is the United Gunworks Undertaker?
The Undertaker is the newest United Gunworks pistol: a 9mm double-stack 2011 with a 4.7-inch ported, integrally compensated island barrel and a matching island slide. It is the fourth model in the UGW lineup, alongside the Nomad, Alpha and Phantom.
How is the Undertaker different from the Alpha?
The Alpha uses a 4.5-inch Ultra-Ported island barrel. The Undertaker goes longer, with a 4.7-inch barrel that is both ported and integrally compensated, running in an island slide. It sits at the top of the UGW lineup at a $7,799 MSRP.
What does integrally compensated mean?
The compensator is machined into the barrel itself instead of being a separate part threaded onto the muzzle. Gas vents through the barrel and the island cut in the slide to help hold the muzzle down, and there is no add-on comp to loosen.
How much does the Undertaker cost?
United Gunworks set the MSRP at $7,799. Our current price is on the product listing below.
Is the Undertaker available now?
It is being built in limited batches because of the barrel and island slide. Our launch-batch unit is available for pre-order and is expected to ship in December 2026. United Gunworks expects the next batch at the end of December, and we can put you on the list for it.
What finish is available?
Our first unit has a copper barrel, black slide and black aluminum grip. Call us about other configurations as United Gunworks releases them.
