What sets the Quantum DTL-X apart
- Dual Taper Lock (DTL): Two tapers and two interlocking barrel nuts center the barrel in the upper and lock the chamber in place for repeatable accuracy.
- Helix gas regulating barrel: A tool-less adjustable gas system with a detent, M42 cobalt steel adjustment rod and high-temp spring. Turn it down for a suppressor, back up for unsuppressed shooting.
- 416R stainless barrel: Gun-drilled, reamed, 5R rifled, lapped, stress relieved and air gauged, then finished in polished cryo. 1:8 twist.
- Zero trigger: 3 lb flat-face trigger with zero pre-travel, zero post-travel and a short reset.
- Fully ambidextrous controls: Ambi lower with ambi bolt release and magazine release, ambi 45/90 safety and a Stryker gas-deflecting ambi charging handle.
- Handguard: 12.85" handguard with full-length M-LOK slots on five sides, a full-length Picatinny top rail and anti-rotation pins.
- Bolt carrier group: 8620 steel carrier and shot-peened 9310 or Carpenter 158 bolt, high-pressure tested and magnetic particle inspected.
